Liste de fabricants artisanaux (cottage manufacturers)

En fouinant sur le net, je suis tombé sur cette liste non exhaustive de cottage manufacturers, qui est assez complète. Peut-être que ceci aidera certains Muls!
(En espérant poster au bon endroit hmm )

A cela on peut rajouter les quelques fabriquants Japonais, Allemands, français (000 en est un en quelque sorte)...
Une liste intéressante, même si pas mal de fabricants n'existe plus.

En voici un autre, ici. J'ai pu découvrir d'autres cottage manufacturers, comme Underground quilts, jusque là inconnus (par moi of course lol ).

Je me suis fait une fois un abri en polycree : je l'ai déchiré au premier montage sur de la pelouse, et j'ai même pas compris comment! lol

Qui n'est pas inintéressante... Un de ces tarps (renforcé intelligemment) a résisté monté dehors six mois et n'a cédé qu'à une tempête... et encore c'est une jonction sparadrap sur sparadrap qui a cédé...(un ducktape pour bateau selon ce que j'ai pu comprendre)...

J'ai bien envie d'en faire un et de le tester pour des sorties courtes... Mais je ne trouve plus de feuilles grandes dimensions dispo...

Si quelqu'un connait une source abordable FDP compris... Je me lance...

Un tarp sous les 100 g et sous les centaines d'euros...

Rien que pour ça et pour le rire des copains non MUL (qui rient moins en montée, sous leurs sacs et sur la distance)...
ça vaut la peine de tenter, non ?

Je suis tombé sur un cottage coréen, Zerogram. Une tarp en silnylon, des SDC en duvet, un bivy, et pleins d'autres choses. Accrochez-vous pour surfer, c'est pas évident à comprendre!

Un artisan anglais propose son matos sur une boutique *bay ici. Quelques trucs intéressants, dont un tapis de sol aluminisé.

A la vue des photos; soit l'auteur du test n'a jamais monté une tente de sa vie (je ne pense pas), soit la tente est mal foutue (je le pense).

Tout à fait d'accord. La tension portée sur le piquet du porche doit être énorme. Je n'aurai aucune confiance en cette tente, sans de nombreux rajouts de haubans.

Je ne sais pas si cette liste ressemble de près ou de loin à celle postée en 2012 (lien mort), mais je suis tombé dessus assez récemment donc elle est vraisemblablement très à jour. Impossible de retrouver le lien original par contre, c'était un Google Doc mais il ne ressorts plus dans les résultats de recherche.

Je la poste en entier pour la pérenniser. Peut-être qu'un nouveau fil épinglé dans "Découvertes et tests de matériels légers" pour être mis à jour au grès des contributions serait pas mal ?

Liste impressionnante! J'aime bien que son auteur ait pris le temps de noter les noms des femmes et des hommes qui sont derrière ces cottage manufacturers. C'est toi?

Je t'aurai bien conseillé de t'en servir pour mettre à jour la page Une sélection de sites pour randonner léger du Wiki mais j'ai cru comprendre que ce n'était pas ton truc.

Il y a aussi des listes chez Trail Designs, Erik The Black, Trace Richardson, Ricky Ng "dummey", Philip Werner, Mike Ferrara (de Lightweight Hiker, le site qui se veut le CraigList du UltraLight...), voire encore ce GoogleDocs créé par un membre du forum trek-lite.com...

Intéressant de noter les disparités entre pays : une trentaine de références au RU, une seule en Espagne. Elle n'est bien entendu pas exhaustive. Mais elle existe.
